Well- here we are at the end of an era. I'm not sure how I feel about this one book, because the weight of the series of prevalent in my mood.Byrne and Wade were a lively couple. While I felt an attraction, I didn't feel an intense love connection like I did with some of the other couples. I enjoyed watching her work through her internal demons and blossom into the capable and steadfast women she wanted to become. Wade was a wonderful surprise. He was older and more centered, just what she needed to compliment her journey.
Roslyn finally met her demise. I was truly sorry to see her go because she was obviously ill, but she wrecked so much havoc that there could be no other ending for her.
I enjoyed the book. Of course, there are many questions about what happens next that we'll have to think about individually, but I'm happy that the Donovan's can move forward in the rebuilding of not only their reputation, but their family.

I love ❤️ the storyline that was written for Brynne & Wade. Brynne had issues that she was dealing with and we found out later that Wade had been dealing with his own issues as well. I don't know if this was the end of the Donovan's, but, I would love to see Lauren paired up with Dane. This would be the ideal story written to help them both heal and find love together at last. I would also like Cade's storyline written. This would certainly be one fantastic read.
As the last installment of a great series in the Donovan family saga this book was a good read. It focused on all aspects of the developing story of Roslyn and her revenge on Henry and the whole Donovan clan for not accepting her son and ultimately her over the top obsessions. The book had a nice balance of that and the developing romance of Brynne and Wade. Although I'd have to agree with another reviewer who said their romance was a little subdued compared to the other Donovan characters. But I guess that's as it should be since Brynne is trying so hard to and is different than the rest of her clan. Roslyn's demise was unfortunate but necessary, otherwise it would never be over for her. I would have liked to have read about Dane especially after the situation at the charity ball. It seemed something was left out. I know this is the last installment but maybe some day you will consider writing something on Dane Donovan. He seems like such a lost sole who just wanted to know who he really was and wanted to help his mother. Thanks for all the great reads in this series and I look forward to your next adventures in the writing.
Just love the Donovan family ......I kept this novel on my thinking that I could prolong the ending of this wonderfully series. This is a must buy series fom book one to the last novel, from the secret that the elders started as young men up until they become grandparents will take you on a rollercoaster ride to the point where you don't put the novel down.
You will get to experience the love, romance, deceit, lies, laughter, and how family stand together in good times and bad times. Thanks for a great series Ms Arthur💯📚💛
Fascinating book, Roslyn was seriously a sick, ruthless woman. She was getting away with too much and had to go. The story of Brynne and Wade was handled outstanding. I just wished Mrs. Terrington and her daughter Mia got what was coming to them. Happy for Devlin and Bailey. What will happen with Dane? Will Lauren be Dane's match. I have read every Donovan book in the series and they keep getting better and better. Dane needs a love match. Will Bernard and his first wife get back together? Will there be a relationship between Dane and his father. Oh my, I'm ready for the next book.
Initially I was excited to read this part of the series about Wade fighting to share with the world his love for Brynne. However, the summary provided did not match what occurred in the book. Brynne was supposed to be secretly recovering but was out at various events this confused me that her family didn't figure where she was. It did not appear their romance was ever hidden. I also felt we got more in the family and less of the couple in this book.
Once again you've done it again... Amazed me of the turn around... Had my heart beating fast wanting to know what was going to happen next.. I love the fact that you had characters in the book, who weren't the average model size and spoke on the benefits of loving oneself and knowing your worth. In addition, to showing your full figured women that you too can find love.
I hope this really isn't the end. What about Jocelyn and Bernard? Will they get back together? What about Dane? Will he be totally accepted and find love..? He needs someone special.. Suggestion Maybe a short book series about Dane.. Love your true fan!! #TheDonovanseries
With much anticipation the conclusion of the Roslyn drama with the Donovan family is upon us. It was bitter sweet reading the story because you grew to love the Donovan family. With that said you get to see how the family copes with drama, lost, love and commitment.
The primary subjects of this story is Wade and Brynne. With so much going on, you have some serious subject matters with physical and mental health issues. You have Wade being the ultimate help for Brynne. In that you learn of Wade's family background with his sister's battle with anorexia. His mother's suicide. Just so much and even with him learning of Brynne's past he was their to see her through the storm.
